Great friendly stylist hotel
This hotel looked great, the reception area and restaurant were nicely styled. The rooms comfy, clean and very well equipped. Great choice at breakfast, cooked and continental. The staff were extremely helpful, and offered many local hints and tips. However, best thing of all is the location - very close to the harbour and trip pick up points, and due to the location to the seafront, we saw the northern lights right outside the door on our last night after failing on an official tour. Would definitely recommend for a short stay city break where time is important.

Great hotel in a very good location. Rooms are a little compact, but fine for a few days. Very chic interior. Proper coffee machine. Reception staff are very helpful. Short walk to a lot of bars and restaurant but the hotel has Le Kock which was very good value. Bagels are excellent.

This hotel is an amazing gem, located right at harbour. Super clean, super friendly staff. Breakfast has fabulous multiple choices and the bakery is amazing!! Would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed here 3 times now. The location is perfect for driving in from the airport with great parking choices. An ideal location for walking around the city too. Breakfast is hearty and cosy, the restaurant is lively and the staff have all been amazing. This will be my go-to choice for my next trip to Iceland.

Had a lovely stay at The Exeter Hotel 1st-4th December. Lovely rooms. Very clean everywhere. Great location. Lovely breakfast. Nice drinks at the bar. Friendly staff. Would highly recommend. Great location to go on trips from.

For Americans the room may seem a tad small, but they have everything you need. The location of the hotel is great near restaurants, the water front, and bus stop #4. The staff is friendly and helpful. The free lockers to store your luggage pre- check in or post check-out are much appreciated. There are also a bakery and restaurant on site.
